What is activity data from Salesforce?
From Salesforce you are able to bring in event, task, campaign and opportunity activity data. This activity data is engagements that your organization is having with your customers and prospects that is stored in your CRM.
How can activity data be used in Rev.Up?
Activity data from Salesforce can be used to segment your market based on whether they are engaging with your organization or not.
Example segment: Strategic accounts that have an open opportunity from campaign Gizmo that is open.
Example segment: Strategic accounts that have had a meeting with a sales rep in the last 4 weeks.
What activity can be imported?
The following activity data can be imported from Salesforce.
- Event
- Task
- Opportunity
- Campaigns
What am I required to do before I can segment using my marketing activity data?
- You must create sources for each type of activity you want to import (event, task, campaign, opportunity)
- You must map fields from each source
- In the Settings section you must have created a relationship between your activity source and a contact or account data source. If you have not created this relationship you will not be able to segment with your data.
