Prerequisites
What are data sync settings?
Data sync settings determine when and how often your data is updated within Rev.Up.
How can I update my data sync settings?
If you are using the new automated connector, you can update the schedule on your own at any time within the individual Connection settings.
What settings are available for me to configure?
- The lookback time period for historical data load can be selected when you initially setup the connection. All data that has been modified since your selected sync start date will be imported for the objects you configure.
- The frequency of your data import - Monthly, Weekly, or Daily
- The day of the week/month your data is updated for non-daily refreshes
- Note: Data from the source system is synced at 6:00 AM UTC of the selected day. To import your data as quickly as possible during the data import process, select the following day or later to begin the sync. For example, if you are setting up your Salesforce connection on a Tuesday, you should set your recurring day to Wednesday so that your data is imported the next day.
How do you determine which records will be updated?
For all connectors except custom connections (AWS S3), we use the last modified date of the record to determine which records should be updated.
For example, if my data sync schedule is set up to be weekly on Tuesday, only records that have been modified within the last week will be updated in Rev.Up. Records that have been created within the last week will be imported and a new record will be created.
Known Limitations
Daily data import is not currently supported for Salesforce connections.
