Context
Rev.Up connects to your Marketo instance through a connected app and Marketo user. You will need to create a Marketo connection, enter your user information and indicate how the Marketo connector should integrate with your Marketo.
Prerequisite:
Step 1: Create a Marketo Activation connection by going to the Activation Connection tab
Step 2: Enter your Marketo integration information
You can review the previous article on creating a Marketo activation user to find the information requested.
Step 3: Give your Marketo Connection a name
Using the connector you are able to enrich Leads in Marketo with information that is in the CDP.
- The Marketo connector uses Email to identify which Leads will be sent to and added to campaigns in Marketo.
Step 4: Map fields from Marketo to the CDP
Choose the attribute group that contains the fields in Rev.Up that you would like to map to Marketo.
At a minimum you will need to choose an attribute group with the email field. This must be mapped to the field you use for email address in Marketo. Additionally you can add up to 1000 total fields in Lattice that are in the attribute group selected, provided you choose a corresponding field in Marketo. These mappings will overwrite existing data in Marketo, if you need to preserve certain values do not use those fields in mapping Lattice fields.
Step 5: Finish to save changes
Mapped fields will begin to populate in Marketo as contacts are launched from campaigns.
