This guide outlines the process for connecting & reconnecting Rev.Up ABX to Facebook for audience distribution.
- If you have have multiple Facebook Ads Accounts, separate connections should be created for each account.
- Connecting Rev.Up ABX to Facebook requires Facebook Ads Manager login credentials.
- Note - distributing to Facebook will take up to 48 hours, for Facebook's customer match process to complete. You can expect to see the shell of your audience in Facebook within 3-4 hours of launch, but it will not be usable until the match process completes.
Step 1: In the D&B Lattice connections page select Facebook and click Create
Step 2: Add the Facebook Ads Manager account
Click on Add new account and provide the Authentication name as shown below.
Step 3: Provide the Facebook Ads Manager account credentials and login
Rev.Up ABX will connect with the Facebook Ads Manager and show your Account ID in the following format.
For example if your Account ID is "123456789", then the Ad account field shown here will display "12345678(act_12345678).
Note: If you have multiple Ad accounts, use the drop-down to select the appropriate account. If you are not able to see the required Account ID verify if you have accepted the Custom Audience Terms on Facebook platform. Scroll to the end of this article to read about how to view and accept the Custom Audience Terms on Facebook.
Step 4: Ensure your Facebook Ads Manager connection is displayed in the D&B Lattice connections page
If you need to change the account name or delete the connection, clicks the 3 dots on top-right corner.
Custom Audience Terms on Facebook
To create the Facebook connector in Rev.Up ABX, the user must accept the Custom Audience Terms in Facebook Ads Manager.
Go to Audience page in Facebook Ads Manager. Click on Create Audience and select Custom Audience in the drop-down. Select Customer List in the pop-up and click Next. As part of this process you will see a pop-up that displays Requirements for Using Custom Audiences as shown below.
Click on I Accept and close the pop-up in next step.
