As of Jan 2023 customer parameters and D&B VI are not a mandatory requirements to get the RevUp campaign performance reports. If you are using customer parameters un your RevUp campaigns, please get touch with your customer success representative to learn about updated RevUp reporting. You can also read about it here.
We require that 3 pieces of information are added to the URL so that we can create the metrics in the performance reports.
- dnbId: This is the unique id of the campaign in the CDP.
- assetId: This is the unique id of the ad in the platform.
- In LinkedIn this is called a creative id.
- In Google and Facebook this is called an ad id.
- accountId: This is the unique id of the social platform account.
Please also note: The VI pixel must be installed on any domain that potential customers will be redirected to when they click on your ad. For example, if your add will take users to acmecontact.com, the pixel must also be installed on this page. You can use this link to verify that the pixel is installed and firing successfully on your website. |
How do I find the CDP Campaign ID?
The CDP Campaign ID can be found by clicking an individual campaign within the Campaign section of the CDP. The Campaign ID is the last section of text within the URL.
Where do I find my Account Id?
You can find your account Id by checking within the platform you are using. If you have created a connection already within the CDP, your Account Id will be shown within the CDP.
How can I configure my custom parameters within each platform?
Within each platform there is more than one way to include the required custom parameters. We recommend the below two ways to do this, but there are other methods for including the required information.
The important thing to to ensure that the custom parameters names are in the required format.

Recommended Option 1: If you are unfamiliar with adding tracking parameters into a URL, we recommend that you use our URL builder tool attached to the bottom of this article. This document will help you build a URL that you can add directly into the ad platform.
Recommended Option 2: If you are familiar with tracking parameters and have already built your own URLs, we recommend using our URL builder tool to generate just the custom parameters that you can simply add to your existing URLs.
Advanced Option 3: If you are advanced at using custom parameters you can opt to not us our URL builder and ad the custom parameters on your own.
How can I configure custom parameters in LinkedIn?
If you are using LinkedIn we recommend that you use our URL builder and paste the resulting URL into the Destination URL section of the Ad. This is within the ad creation wizard within LinkedIn.
How can I configure custom parameters in Google?
(1) Recommended Option 1: Build my own URL
- At the Ad Level you can set the final URL. You can generate a final URL using the URL builder tool.
- At the campaign or ad group level, go into settings and use the “Final URL Suffix”. You can generate a final URL using the URL builder tool.
If you are running display campaigns you will need to include the custom parameters at the AdGroup Level. |
(2) Recommended Option 2: I already have my own URLs and want to add custom parameters at the end of the URL. You can use the URL builder tool to build a string of text that you can add to the end of your URLs.
