Summary
Creating and launching Salesforce campaigns from D&B Lattice enables users to deliverprescriptive recommendations for their target accounts to their sales team. Effectively managing Lattice Recommendations is essential for executing successful sales campaigns.
Expire Old Campaign Runs
The Lattice Buyer Insights application allows users to expire old campaign runs. When this setting is enabled, every time a campaign is relaunched from D&B Lattice to Salesforce, all Open Recommendations from the previous campaign launch will be expired, and new Open Recommendations will be inserted. Any Qualified, Disqualified or In Progress Recommendations will remain in their current status.To expire old campaign runs, complete the following steps.
- In Salesforce, navigate to the Lattice Plays tab in the Lattice Buyer Insights app.
- Find the name of the campaign that was launched for the first time in the Play Name column.
- Click on the corresponding Play Number.
- Click the pencil icon to the right of the Expire Old Play Runs? option.
- Check the Expire Old Play Runs? checkbox and click Save.
Note: These steps must be completed after the initial launch of each recurring campaign. If a campaign will only be launched once, these steps do not need to be completed.
Remove Expired Recommendations
The default Lattice Buyer Insights configuration will automatically remove Expired Recommendations the day after expiration. To manually remove Expired Recommendations immediately after expiration, complete the following steps.
Note: The user who completes these steps must have the Lattice Super Admin permission set.
- In Salesforce, navigate to the Lattice Admin tab in the Lattice Buyer Insights app.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Select Installation Cleanup from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click the Delete All Expired Recommendations button.
Remove Recommendations From Salesforce
If a campaign that has been launched to Salesforce is deleted from Lattice, the Recommendations associated with the campaign will live on in Salesforce.T o remove the Recommendations associated with the campaign from Salesforce, complete the following steps.
- In Salesforce, navigate to the Lattice Plays tab in the Lattice Buyer Insights app.
- Find the name of the campaign that was launched for the first time in the Play Name column.
- Click on the corresponding Play Number.
- Click the Expire All Active Recommendations button.
- Confirm by clicking Expire Recommendations and then OK.
