The Outreach connector can automatically create sequences and fill them with prospects from a segment in Lattice. Prospects have to be assigned to the respective owners in Outreach to be actionable.
Configuring SDR Owners for Accounts
Sales managers assign accounts to individual SDR owners so that they can work with these prospects to access demand for the companies products and services.
Organizations that use a CRM and a SEP platform such as Outreach typically maintain the account ownership in the CRM system. This ownership is frequently synced with Outreach so that both system have an up to date information on the account ownership.
This guide walks through the process of setting up this ownership in Lattice.
Note: If SDR Owner email and Outreach Account ID are not provided in Lattice, then prospects are created in Outreach and also added to sequences without ownership information in Outreach.
Step 1: Create a data feed that contains the SDR owner and Outreach Account to the Account in Lattice
Sales Operations can setup a data import feed from CRM or Outreach to Lattice. This data feed can contain several fields, but will require the following fields.
CRM Account ID | Outreach Account ID | SDR Owner |
CRM_123 | Outreach_123 | jane@acme.com |
The CRM account ID is the unique ID that identifies the account in the CRM system and can be used to map the account to Outreach using the Outreach Account ID and SDR owner. If there are multiple ownerships, additional columns with corresponding owners can be added.
Step 2: Configure the Account Template to add these fields
These fields need to be setup as Other IDs
In addition to setting these as Other ID, these fields need to be added as Custom Fields
