Prerequisite
You’ll need admin permissions in your Marketo instance for these steps. If your Marketo administrator will perform these steps for you, just send them a link to this page along with the webhook details from the Lattice Predictive Insights platform.
Copy Webhook Details from Lattice
If you’ve already copied the webhook details in a previous step, you can skip this section.
1. Within the Lattice Predictive Insights platform, click on Marketo Settings on the right menu.
2. Locate the Marketo connection you created in the previous section, and click Scoring next to it.
3. Locate the Lattice model that you want to use for scoring your Marketo leads, then click View Webhook next to it.
4. Copy the details from the Webhook Summary page.
Configure Webhook in Marketo Admin
1. In the Marketo Admin area, click Webhooks in the Integration section on the left menu.
2. Click New Webhook underneath the Webhooks tab.
3. Enter the details from the Webhook Summary page in the Lattice Predictive Insights platform into the fields with the same names in the New Webhook screen.
Click Create when you’re done.
4. With the webhook you just created selected in the menu on the left, click on Webhook Actions and then Set Custom Header.
Click Create when you’re done.
5. Click Add to create a new custom header. Enter “Content-Type” as the header and “application/json” as the value.
If your Lattice webhook settings (in Lattice) provide an additional header, such as Lattice-Secret-Key, make sure you create all custom headers.
Click Save when you’re done.
If you are using lattice Synchronous scoring, follow the steps to configure your rating and score fields in the webhook response settings.
If you want to use different models for different leads, just repeat this step again for each model you want to use.
Marketo webhooks can only be called by trigger campaigns (not batch campaigns). You’ll build these campaigns in the next step.
