In the Rev.Up CDP admin section you can build new and manage buyer journey map templates. You can build one or more buyer journey maps as needed for your brand/company. For example build unique journey maps for each product/service that you sell, build unique journey maps based on customer segments such as SMB, mid-market, enterprise or build unique journey maps representing each geographical markets or industry that you sell to.
Each journey map can be customized to contain any number of stages and each stage can be customized to have any type of account/contact activity signals. For example you can define an "awareness" stage as any accounts that have seen your ad or visited your website.

Default buyer journey map
In your Rev.Up CDP there will be one default buyer journey map automatically created for you. This journey map will consist or 6 stages and has a generic definition of what each journey stage is as follows:
- Unaware : Accounts with no interaction with your brand through any of the known channels
- Aware : Accounts that are showing buying intent determined through either Bombora buyer intent or D&B buyer intent models
- Engaged : Accounts that have visited your website in the last 90 days i.e. first party intent
- Known engaged : Accounts with at least one contact who has not opted out of email/phone communication from your brand and has opened/clicked an email, filled a form or attended a webinar
- Opportunity in CRM: Accounts with an open opportunity
- Closed won: Accounts with a closed-won opportunity
You can customize the default journey map to change the definition of each stage, edit the name, description. You can also add more stages or delete existing stages.
While building a journey map one of the most important thing you need to set up the are the signals also called as query criteria to define what each stage should be.
For every journey stage you will see a column called Journey Stage Definition Query. When you click on the blue highlighted Queries text you will be taken to the same query builder page that you may be familiar with from segment building.
Here you will be able to access all the Account, Contact and Activity stream parameters to build your query defining a journey stage.
While building different stages make sure that the parameters you are selecting represent a unique stage and there is no overlap of query parameters between different stages. The query duplication across stages may skew your results.
